WHITE HORSE BLACK MOUNTAIN
Black Mountain is conveniently located in the scenic Swannanoa Valley, just 15 minutes east of Asheville NC. We're less than an hour from most areas in the mountains of Western North Carolina and are a pleasant drive of less than two hours from Knoxville Tennessee, The Smoky Mountains, Southwestern Virginia, Charlotte NC, and Winston-Salem NC.
Directions: Take I-40 to exit 64 (Black Mountain / Montreat) and then head north into the center of town (about 1/2 mile). White Horse Black Mountain is located on the left just past the main intersection of town (Broadway and State street ...aka Hwy 9 and Hwy 70).
Plenty of free parking is available and there are numerous cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. White Horse also serves a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other snacks.
